Proton VPN Puts Your Online Privacy and Security First
Whenever you use the internet, especially public Wi-Fi, your private information may be subject to spying tools and software that hackers use to steal data. These data may be as simple as the websites you visit, but it can also include confidential information such as your bank or credit card numbers. If the hacker intercepts your web activity and gets ahold of your private information, they can either use it for blackmail, ransom, or sell it to other people.
To prevent these threats from happening, you may need to use a VPN, or Virtual Private Network, every time you go online, especially when you use the internet for paying bills, purchasing products, or logging in to your accounts. A VPN cloaks your real IP address and directs web traffic through an encrypted tunnel, which makes all your data undetectable and inaccessible by hacking software and devices.
Proton VPN can help safeguard your online privacy and security with their fast, reliable, and high-speed VPN service.

Features
Want to know more about ProtonVPN? Have a look at their features before you buy a ProtonVPN subscription. We listed a few key features that might interest you;
Secure Core
Proton VPN safeguards your online privacy through their Secure Core architecture. This feature protects your data against network-based attacks as your web traffic goes through multiple servers before leaving the secure network. Proton VPN’s Secure Core servers are in data centers in Switzerland, Iceland, and Sweden, which are countries with strong privacy laws. Plus, the Secure Core servers are physically located in high-security areas to ensure that all servers are protected. Critical infrastructure in Switzerland is housed 1,000 meters below the surface in a former army fallout shelter. The data center in Iceland is located in a secure former military base, while the servers in Sweden are also underground.
Strong Encryption
Proton VPN uses AES-256 for data encryption, 4096-bit RSA for key exchange, and HMAC with SHA384 for message authentication. They use strong protocols such as IKEv2/IPSec and Open VPN, and they also have DNS Leak Protection. Proton VPN also includes the Perfect Forward Secrecy feature that prevents encrypted web traffic from being captured and decrypted, should the encryption key from a subsequent session gets compromised. This is possible because they generate a new encryption key with each connection.
No Logs Policy
Proton VPN operates under Swiss Law, which is outside the US and EU jurisdiction. This means that the company is not obliged to save, share, or perform any tracking or monitoring of their user’s web activity, nor surrender them to any third-party. The No-Logs Policy applies to all users, even those who use the free version. Proton VPN also publishes transparency reports on their website, which they update whenever they receive a notable new legal request.
Kill Switch and Always-On VPN
The Kill Switch feature stops all internet traffic should your device lose connection to the VPN service. The Always-On feature reconnects your device automatically to the VPN server. These features ensure that your privacy remains protected in the event of VPN server disconnection.
Tor Over VPN
This built-in feature routes all web traffic through the Tor anonymity network that allows access to dark web or Onion sites.
Multiple Devices
Proton VPN runs on Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and Linux devices, as well as routers. The maximum number of devices you can connect simultaneously depends on the subscription plan you get. The free version lets you connect only one device, but the paid plans allow you to connect up to 5 or up to 10 devices at a time.
Worldwide Network
Proton VPN has over 1,000 servers in 54 countries. Their high-speed servers have a minimum of 1 Gbps bandwidth, while many of their servers utilize 10 Gbps connections.
Support Center
Proton VPN’s Support Center provides different categories where you can find information to help you with any issues or inquiries you have. The categories include Download and Set-up, Troubleshooting, and General Information guides. You may also send your inquiries via ticketed request by filling up their online form.
