It is fascinating to see how drones have taken over the world by a storm. People are flocking towards drone shops that were not even known by the masses until a decade ago. This higher demand means that the producers have to come up with a wide range of products that suit and match each customer’s particular needs. However, it is commonly observed that most of the manufacturers fail to take into account the demands of the customer and make a generalized product that later fails in the market. However, it is not the case with one of the leaders of the market and perhaps the industry, UDI RC Drones.
Two Different Product Lines?
A common man’s perception of a drone is very generic. They consider any quadcopter to be a drone. These useful toys’ false image was created after many companies became stagnant with their designs and gave a conventional, quadcopter design to each of their drones. UDI RC drones break these shackles by coming up with two different product lines. Not only the target market and the use of each line are different, but the designs and outlooks are different too. We’ll talk about the details as we progress. However, for now, you need to know that despite the different target markets and designs, each of the drones is created with the same sophistication and precision. Hence the performance is not going to be an issue in either of the two.
Novelty Drones: The Playful Ones.
One of the two product lines of UDI RC drones is novelty drones. As the name suggests, these drones are meant to be a toy and not for professional and hardcore users. It is one of the primary reasons you will find them in interesting shapes. Rather than the usual quadcopter designs, these drones come in styles that do not fail to grab the viewer’s attention right away. The Flying Motorcycle U66 and Jellyfish U63 are one of their kind and act as great gifts for young yet passionate drone pilots. The latter look forward to pursuing this hobby to a professional level. The compact design and light-weight plastic body of this series make them perfect for indoor use. Assistive features like one-button take-off and landing ensure that the newbies do not face any operating machines.
With that being said, you cannot question the durability and efficacy of these drones. The drone comes with a 2.4GHz controller and has all those features you would see in a rather expensive and high-class drones such as altitude holding and yaw. The Li-Po battery charges quickly with the USB charging cable and can provide up to six minutes. The obstacle avoidance function with models such as FunAir U58 and Jellyfish U63 ensures that your machine does not get physically damaged. For photography enthusiasts, the Beetle U61 model is an excellent choice as it comes with a manually adjustable camera that is great for wide-angle shots. Henceforth, the bottom line is, if you are an enthusiast but not very sure of your flying skills and thus are reluctant to spend the bigger notes, this series is the one for you!
FPV Drones: This isn’t a child’s play
It is where things start to get complex. Had you only seen the Novelty series, you would have questioned UDI RC drones’ credibility and technology? Still, the FPV series clarifies all such queries and reinforces the company’s highest quality into the customer’s mind.
The FPV series is the company’s flagship series and thus provides features that would leave you stunned. All the series’ drones come with high definition, remotely adjustable cameras that can record high-quality footage and take spectacular pictures. The drone range varies from item to item, but for a generic idea, one can comfortably say that these drones can go up to 1000 meters.
The pilot’s task is made substantially easier with features such as waypoint flight that comes out-of-the-box on products such as the WingPro. Auto return home function on beasts like Mirage Pro ensure that it returns safely to the take-off point after a successful flight. Let’s also not forget the 5G Wi-Fi technology on most of this series’s drones that act as a feather on the cap. If you think that’s it, brace yourself, as the best part is yet to come.
DO UDI RC drones come with VR support?
All the drones of this series are compliant with the U-Scene VR glasses. It means that the drone captures’ scenes can be enjoyed in an immersive and amazing experience with the virtual reality glasses. The VR glasses are the drone technology of the new era. You can have a bird’s eye view of the whole flight and even feel like a soaring bird. If you haven’t tried VR like this, it is high time that you did. It is an elevating experience flying a drone in a VR environment taking the flight’s whole experience to a whole new level!
Should you buy it?
It is most definitely worth a try, but do not buy any technology online without properly reading customer reviews. There are hundreds of testimonies, detailed reviews, and blog articles on various platforms that could give you in-depth knowledge about the product experience. So, whether you are an amateur who has just stepped into the club of flyers or are a seasoned professional looking forward to having some fun with a powerful drone, UDI RC drones can accommodate both of you. No more waiting; choose the right one for yourself from the wide range of drones and fly with the birds.

I’m looking to buy one for my cousin, he’s crazy about computers and anything tech. Can you recommend a starter drone for hobbyists?
Jorge
I was one of the skeptics, I thought that drones will have their 15 minutes of fame and slowly fade away but they proved me wrong. Now I’m itching to buy my first drone and after reading a ton of reviews I’m stuck between dji mavic pro and phantom 4.

The U63 Jellyfish is great for kids, easy to use and fun to fly. My 8-year old always packs it for family trips and is doing pretty good. He’s been researching the mavic mini 2 as an upgrade but I’m still not ready haha.

The FPV series is where things get serious and these drones shouldn’t be used by beginners. They require a certain finesse to them and some decent experience is needed here. They are beautiful, made from better materials and thus as much more durable and have a bigger battery life. They can go up to 1000 meters which is a nice improvement compared to other UDI RC drones.

Yeah, first fly a Jellyfish U63 and then fly a FPV series one and you’ll immediately see and feel the difference in everything: flying distance, battery life, controls, ease of flight, etc.

I recently purchased a Mirage Pro and I have to say that the return home function is so, so cool! I mean it really works and the drone returns back while I can do anything else with that time. I often fly it as much as it can go and then get bored and have it come back home.

Isn’t it cool? I still can’t afford one (but will in a few months) but I have seen it and even flown it a few times. It’s like magic! It comes home, has a very big battery life, the camera is great and so on and so forth. I can’t wait to get it!

UDI RC drones are quite good and resemble better and more expensive drones in a lot of ways. The main difference between a bigger drone and this is the durability level. A more expensive drone should, in theory, take much more damage before it becomes unusable.

Hi Benjamin,
Yes, the UDI RC drone is great despite the lesser durability but if you fly it safely, there should be no problems regarding durability.

Thank God there are companies like UDI RC drones that keep innovating and bringing better looking drones and ones with better performance. I like their Flying Motorcycle U66 and I saw it in action as a friend owns one. It flies pretty nicely, with good control and decent battery life (for these kinds of drones).

This caught my attention after I read that it isn’t for professional and hardcore users. I thought “Oh, sounds like something that would fit me then!” Thanks for such an informative article. I wouldn’t call myself a tech geek so a lot of this is really new to me. Even brandwise I have to look into reviews to understand which companies are producing the best value and quality!

As someone who has been reading up a lot on drones, this article is definitely with more informative content than most. I always research items before purchasing them and drones are no different. I didn’t know they were catered to a different segment but all the more it is timely that I read on this. Hopefully this is available in a store near me or an area that delivers to my country. Many thanks for the information!
